Sharareh was born in Tehran, Iran, in 1983 and now lives and works in Idar-Oberstein, Germany. She studied Handicrafts in Art University of Tehran, and Gemstone and Jewelry design in Trier University of Applied Sciences, Idar-Oberstein. In between her studies, she took private courses on jewelry design at Giv Atelier in Tehran. Furthermore, she completed an internship at Uniquat jewelry Company in Berlin. Since her graduation from Trier University of Applied Sciences, Sharareh has been working as a professional stone carver, goldsmith, and sculptor. Her works have been displayed in several exhibitions in various countries, including Iran, Germany, France, the United States, the Netherlands, etc. She has also published some of her works in publications specialized in jewelry designs.

Akis Goumas
Akis is a contemporary jewelry maker and researcher mainly in ancient goldsmithing techniques of the Aegean region. He was born in Greece in 1952. After his diploma in economics he was trained as a goldsmith and later as a silversmith. From 1982 to 1986 he studied gemology and seal engraving. He is a member of the Greek Chamber of Fine Arts. Since 1989 and for more than 15 years he was the designer of ONAR S.A. (Jewelry and Object Company). From 2000 up to now he teaches at Chalkis Jewelry School, creative jewelry. Since 2016 he collaborates with Alchimia contemporary jewelry school of Florence as a visiting teacher and also teaches to Anamma contemporary jewelry school in Athens. In 2020 he participated in the European MICHALANGELO FOUNDATION and he is a member of HOMO FABER GUIDE 2020-21. In 2021 he received a fellowship from Harvard University as <> in CHS program. During the last 15 years he has participated in more than 30 exhibitions in Greece and European countries. Since 2006 he is a member of a team of archaeologists, studying and researching the following: 1. Prehistoric metal technologies of the Aegean region in collaboration with the National Archaeological museum of Athens and the Museum of Cycladic Art 2. Hellenistic gold smithing techniques in collaboration with the Benaki Museum and 3.. Minoan seal stone engraving, collaborating with the University of Heidelberg.
Patrícia Domingues
Patrícia Domingues was born in 1986 in Lisbon, Portugal.
At the age of 15 she started her studies in the jewellery field and during her training as a goldsmith, Patricia slowly realised the contrast between the heritage of the old craft and the new materials, or the combination of contemporary techniques and ancient materials creates a tension in the work and leads her to find different images and new meanings.
In 2007 she travelled to Spain to study artistic jewellery at the Massana School in Barcelona. There she spent two years studying and a further one year as an exchange student at the Estonian Academy of Arts in Tallinn.
In 2010 Patricia moved to a small village in Germany to attend a Master of Arts at the Gemstone and Jewellery Design Department, University of Trier in Idar-Oberstein. There, she got in contact for the first time with the stonecutting craftsmanship and, simultaneously started investigating two different classes of materials: natural stone and all kinds of artificial materials. The differences in origin and material qualities between the two have been since then, an inspiration. Patricia have been interested in the idea of recreating an image of a landscape through processes of fragmentation. She thinks of her pieces as accumulations of a changing image that captures the rhythms and patterns of the deconstructed and reconstructed nature.
Edu Tarin
Son of jewellers, was trained at the workshop of the family business by Mr. Eduardo Tarín Ruiz, specialized goldsmith and Mr. Francisco Brocal, specialized hand engraver.
He has been working since 2002 at the family business and for several jewellery stores in Valencia. In 2008 studied artistic jewellery at the EASD Valencia School, with the Professors Kepa Karmona, Carlos Pastor and Heidi Schechinger. In 2012 he received his Bachelor Degree at the University of Applied Sciences Trier, Dept. Gemstone and Jewellery Design in dar-Oberstein, Germany.
In April 2015 he graduated with a Master in Fine Arts at the same department under the guidance of Professors Theo Smeets, Ute Eitzenhöfer, Lothar Brügel.
Since 2010 he has participated in different exhibition throughout Europe. His work has been recently awarded with the Talente Prize 2016 of the chamber of crafts in Munich and the 2016 Award for Creation and Design Jorgc in Barcelona.
